Do you listen to what your inner voices, intellegence and wisdom are sharing?
Take the opportunity to spend time with yourself, quiet your mind and become more aware. Within you lies a wealth of knowledge you may have forgotten or lost touch with. The Listening Experience is designed to reawaken a connection to our inner voices by providing a space for you to be listened to by another person.
When we share our inner voices out loud, engaging with the questions posed in a Listening Experience, we create a dialogue with ourselves. This simple yet powerful act allows us to access valuable information from within, trusted because it is our own voice. It brings certainty, awareness, and a stronger commitment to taking action that supports our growth.
Being heard is nourishing, something we all need, yet we don't experience enough.
In the Listening Experience, you will connect with your inner voices, intelligence and wisdom and nurture your being.
Tapping into your wisdom can support your growth journey, and the Listening Experience can help you access it. Through time, quiet, and the right questions, our dialogue with ourselves in a Listening Experience can bring our wisdom to the forefront of our minds.
An awareness of our wisdom allows us to make more informed choices based on what we already know. While information and knowledge fade quickly, wisdom remains deeply encoded within. With a Listening Experience, you can access your inner wisdom more readily.
Do you ask meaningful questions and listen to your inner voices' answers?
Asking questions is essential to the listening process, whether those questions are written by yourself or ones you ask me to create for you intuitively. Questions help us delve deeper into our inner voices and thoughts, initiating a dialogue within ourselves. With a Listening Experience, those inner thoughts are spoken out loud and recorded, creating a living memory that can be reviewed.
This practice of asking meaningful questions and actively listening fosters personal growth, nurturing self-awareness and discovering new perspectives. Embracing asking questions can strengthen our connection with our authentic selves.
Asking questions of ourselves and recording our answers is a process anyone can adopt. We can do this on our own, but the nature of answering questions out loud in front of another person amplifies the potential impact of our answers.
In our modern world, where talking at each other has become commonplace, reflecting on whether we feel truly heard is essential. The lack of being genuinely listened to can significantly impact our lives.
When we don't feel listened to, it can lead to feelings of isolation, disconnection, and even insignificance. It diminishes our sense of self-worth and hampers our ability to express our thoughts, emotions, and needs authentically. The absence of being heard and understood can generate frustration, as our desires for validation and empathy still need to be fulfilled.
Recognizing the challenges of needing to be listened to is crucial. It empowers us to seek genuine connections where we can be heard. We can foster more self-understanding by cultivating opportunities to be listened to with caring empathy.
I created Listening Experiences to offer a space to be genuinely heard. I also hope that you explore engaging with the people in your life. So, you both support each other by listening intently to each other.
We’re obsessed with one-way communications, texts, tweets, emails, chats— anything but face-to-face conversation. We’re talking at each other, not with each other, and we’re poorer for it. After processing the loss of two friendships, I finally realized how isolated I felt, we had incredibly supportive relationships where we listened to each other. I was ready to build new connections.
Then Covid hit. It was up to me to extend myself to create connections over Zoom that could grow into friendships. I had one key skill on my side, people had always remarked on how good a listener I am. They felt heard. That was valuable to them.
By listening intently to people I found online, it became apparent to me Zoom was a modern tool that could foster real connections. My connections over Zoom made it easier to face Covid isolation. In my research to build Listener services, I discovered there’s an epidemic of loneliness in North America. I found that loneliness has direct correlations with the lack of listening we experience.
When we don’t create opportunities to be heard, I firmly believe the quality of our lives diminishes. I hope everyone has people in their life that will listen to them. If that is not your experience, I may be a bridge.
